Application: Roller Conveyor – Wood Panels

Problem: Rollers were installed with a traditional key and setscrew connection. The stresses induced on the key and keyway from the starts/stops and load transmission causes wear and results in fretting and corrosion of the sprockets to the shaft. Keys sometimes wear and shear.

Solution: Trantorque GT Keyless Bushings. The mechanical shrink fit resists shock and torque reversals eliminating key wallow and fretting corrosion. The unique single locking nut concept provides for easy on and off installation.
